A shame to leave Perth today … a picture postcard day. Lovely walk along Leighton beach followed by breakfast at The Orange Box and a swim … also good to catch up with the grandies.

1 May … my mind goes back a few years when we arrived in Amsterdam on Queens Day … a complete party in the city. It’s been 2 years since we have been able to travel overseas due to the Covid19 pandemic. What will the world be like now? is inmy thoughts. There is also the conflict between Russia and Ukraine that is also on my mind … the reason for our destination … as far away as possible.

The check-in was seamless just passport and digital international covid certificate.

A full plane … we were told that the A380 will soon be flying out of Perth soon.
